Mise Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Mise, including the Mise iOS app, related services, websites, and features. By using Mise, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
2. Permitted Use
You may use Mise only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
- Abuse, scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse the app or backend services except as allowed by law
- Upload or transmit harmful code or malicious content
3. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to Mise, including pantry data, recipes, household information, and related entries. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the service.
You are responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to provide it.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Mise may offer auto-renewable subscriptions, including:
- Mise Pro Monthly
- Mise Pro Yearly
If you purchase a subscription through Apple:
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings after purchase
- Any free features and paid features may change over time as the product evolves
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies

5. Product Information and Recipe Content
Mise may provide product insights, ingredient summaries, recipe import results, and household planning tools. This information is provided for general informational purposes only and is not medical, nutritional, legal, or professional advice.
You are responsible for reviewing ingredient labels, allergen statements, nutrition facts, and other official product or recipe sources before making health, dietary, or purchasing decisions.
6. Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Mise at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee that all features will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
7. Account Termination
You may stop using Mise at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk for other users, or if required by law.
8. Disclaimers
Mise is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mise and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of the service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your principal operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where local consumer law requires otherwise.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
